About Wayne
Rev. Wayne Kealohi Powell is the founder of Hawaiian Shamanic Bodywork and the Global Hoʻoponopono Alliance, a vehicle for extending the power of forgiveness worldwide. He is in service as a Doctor of Divinity, Holistic Health Educator, Applied Kinesiologist, author, singer/songwriter and recording artist.
He’s facilitated healing courses, sessions and concerts in Ireland, Scotland, England, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Netherlands, Australia, Fiji, the United States and Canada.
His work has changed the lives of thousands of people and continues to flourish through his books, music and the many courses he offers on 'Forgiveness Technology'.
Wayne has studied esoteric Hawaiian shamanism since 1984 and began teaching kahuna science—huna and the way of aloha—on Molokai in 1995. His work honors the many teachers, students, and musicians who helped deepen his love for all things spiritual through four decades of exploring the spiritual philosophy of various religions and Hawaiian culture. He is the author, with Patricia Lynn Miller, Hawaiian Shamanistic Healing: Medicine Ways to Cultivate the Aloha Spirit (Llewellyn, 2018).
Wayne has studied with Abraham Kawaii, Anakala Pilipo Solatorio, Uncle Harry Uhane Jim, Serge Kahili King, Lehua Kawaikapuakalani, Sherman Dudoit, LONO, and Susan Pa'inu Floyd. (to mention only his Hawaiian based teachers). Glenda Green, Satyen Raja, John de Ruiter and Mahara Brenna were also his teachers. Each brought a unique piece of his career into the art of his healing ministry.
Rev. Wayne has presented Sunday Services, the music and the message, at many CSL and Unity churches in the US and Canada. He loves sharing his ho'oponopono miracle story, from divorce trauma with three children, and no civil communication for seventeen years, to a Birthday celebration, Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas reunion with is sons and their mother.
Wayne's newest books: The Sacred Apology three-book series are sharing what he calls, 'Forgiveness Technology'. They were inspired by Morrnah Simeona's Self-ID through Ho'oponopono miracle work, the Principles of Miracles from ACIM as well as pre-christian teachings of Jeshua ben Joseph. All three books were published in 2024, in paperback, a few months apart. And now, all three books are available as The Sacred Apology Collection--in a hardcover all-in-one Special Edition.
